As a fine artist, George Bloomfield works primarily with acrylic on canvas.  As a commercial illustrator, he works in a digital world.  Because his paintings are nearly void of texture and his illustration style is so similar, it can be difficult at times to recognize which is which.

George refers to his style as Graphic Surrealism.  His finished works and reproductions are collected around the globe.

As a fine artist, George Bloomfield uses tiny sable and synthetis watercolor brushes to apply thin layers of acrylic on hand-stretched canvas. As a commercial illustrator, he works in a digital world using a stylus in Photoshop to produce similarly precise images. Because his painting and digital illustration styles are so consistent, it can be difficult to recognize which is which.
